Publish a Course Locally

When you have completed the development of your course, you must make it available to users. This process is called Final Publishing a course. Final Publish converts your custom course into a format that the SkillSoft Course Manager (SCM) software will recognize.

To publish a course locally

1. With your course open in SkillStudio, click Tools > Final Publish on the menu.

   After a short delay, the Final Publish progress indicator displays.

2. When the Select Resource File window displays, click Use Default.

   Your published course files are located in the same directory as your SkillStudio working files in a folder called Publish.
