Single Path Roleplay

In SkillStudio, there are some functional limitations for the Single Path Roleplay template.

You cannot:

• Create new Roleplays in an existing course.
• Copy, paste or move a Roleplay already in a course.
• Add the Roleplay template to an existing course.

You can:

• Delete Roleplays that are in an existing course.
• Convert the page to a non-video Roleplay page by deselecting the video checkbox.

  Note: This is the only editing that can be performed to existing Roleplay pages.

In the Single Path Roleplay template, learners are given the opportunity to model, practice, and assess behavioral skills and knowledge of course content. In Single Path Roleplays, the instructional path through the Roleplay is the same for all learners, regardless of the choices they make. Learners proceed in a single path from the first scene through the last.

The following features differentiate Single Path Roleplays from Multi Path Roleplays:

• The instructional path through the Single Roleplay is the same for all learners, regardless of the choices they make. Learners proceed in a single instructional path from the first scene through the last.
• When in Score mode, early exit from the Single Path Roleplay is possible (through either a catastrophic ending or setting a threshold score).
• The SCP reorders Response Choices on each page in the Single Path Roleplay.
• Each Single Path Roleplay scene can be based on one attribute.
• The Single Path Roleplay can be used as a test item.
