Rank/Sequence

In the Rank/Sequence template, questions present the learner with a list of options and targets. Ranking/Sequencing questions require the learner to assign an order or priority to content. Options consist of words, sentences, or phrases, presented in one column; the targets are a column of numbers with blank placeholders for the options. The learner is required to order the options by dragging the letter associated with each option to a placeholder in the target area. Ranking/Sequencing questions are used to practice or test the learner's ability to:

• Arrange steps in a process in order of importance
• Sequence the order of steps in a process or procedure in the proper order
• Assign special importance or attention to principles and their resulting actions
• Prioritize actions or thoughts
• Indicate relevance

Ranking/Sequencing questions support the following match-ups between options and targets:

• One-to-one matching, where each option is matched to one target only
• Distracter options are supported
