Animation Check Box

Use the Animation check box to add prompted animations to a page. Through these, learners can self-direct the start of the animation after reading any text items placed on the page. Checking the Animation check box places an Animation Prompt and a Hotspot/label field on the Writing tab and a Hotspot and label on the Graphics tab.

Note: The Animation Prompt is designed for you to enter instructions about how to begin the animation for the learner to follow (for example, "Click the graphic to see the animation.")

On the Writing tab, check the Animation check box.
An Animation Prompt and a Hotspot/label field appear on the Writing tab.
Enter a learner prompt in the Animation Prompt dialog box.
Enter a label for the hotspot in the Hotspot/label dialog box.
Note: Labels appear in the player and are clickable. Check the Publish Label checkbox to publish them with your course.
Click the Graphics tab.
Click and drag the pink hotspot over the graphic you wish to prompt.
Right-click the graphic.
Select Add Stage.
A new stage appears.
Maneuver the outlined box (2) to the graphic's final placement.
In the Timeline window, adjust the timeline until it is satisfactory.
Click OK.
The prompted animation is added to the page.
Click the Assign To: tab.
Assign the animation to the hotspot and label as described in the Assign To: tab.
