Uninstalling SCM - Macintosh Platform

The SCM uninstall option is not available on the Macintosh platform. Therefore, use the instructions below to remove the SCM/SCP files from a Macintosh workstation.

1. Locate the SkillSoft folder that contains the SCM application.
2. Drag the folder to the Trash can.
3. Go to the System Folder:Extensions:MRJ Libraries:MRJClasses.
4. Look for the file named __skillsoftLoaded.class and drag it to the Trash can.
5. Look for the file named __skillsoftLoaded.jar and drag it to the Trash can.
6. Click Empty trash from the Special drop down menu.
7. Open the Internet Control Panel from the Apple menu in the top left corner of the window .
8. Click the Advanced tab.
9. Click Helper Apps.
10. Click the Application column heading.
11. Locate and click on the SkillSoft Course Manager.
12. Click Remove.
13. Launch Netscape Communicator (if installed).
14. Select Preferences... from the Edit menu.
15. Select the Applications panel.
16. Locate and click on the SkillSoft Course Manager.
17. Click Delete.
18. Close Netscape.
