Using CD-ROM Library Content

To use the content on the SkillSoft CD-ROM library

1. Insert the SkillSoft Library CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Copy the applicable courses and simulations from the SkillSoft Library CD-ROM to the appropriate folder of the SkillSoft CD-ROM_Player directory located on your desktop:
   • For Business Skills courses, copy course folders to the \courses folder.
   • For IT courses, copy course folders to the \ITContent folder.
   • For Simulations, copy simulation folders to the \SimContent\Player folder.
   • For Classic and e3 courses, copy course folders to the \cbtlib folder.
   • For NLS courses, copy course folders to the \Content\NLS_Content folder.
   • For KNET courses, copy course folders to the \Content\KNET_Content folder.
   • For CCA courses copy course folders to \Content\cca folder.
3. Verify you have "Show Hidden Files and Folders" enabled on the CD-ROM burner machine. This setting is required in order to ensure all necessary files are copied to the master CD-ROM.

   To show Hidden Files and Folders, in Windows Explorer, select Tools > Folder Options > View

Note: If you copy Simulations to your master CD-ROM, include any Business Skills courses referenced by the Simulations. These courses are required for the Simulation reference feature to work properly.
