Email Collection

When you and your Site Admins create a new user in Percipio, you have the option to include an email address. This email address is not shared with any third parties per our Privacy Policy, and it enables Percipio to send your users password reset emails, Welcome emails and reminders, assignment reminders, new content offerings, and more.

If you do not include an email address during user creation, Site Admins can add it by editing the user profile. See Edit an Existing User or Update Existing Users by Bulk Import for procedures.

When signing in to Percipio, if users do not have an email address in their user profile, Percipio displays a notification that asks them for it:

By default, this setting is available on all Percipio sites. If you prefer Percipio to not collect emails directly from your users, you can disable email collection and add the email addresses via the email field on the Edit a User page or using the bulk import feature.
