New Features and Enhancements as of July 15, 2025
Expanding skills of your workforce
The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

Learners can now experience a new behavior trait called Critical when interacting with CAISY. When learners select the Critical behavior, CAISY actively engages by not shying away from arguments and not accepting everything at face value. CAISY will ask pertinent questions, fostering a more dynamic and interactive learning experience.

If you have the Unified language experience setting turned on and you also have the Include English (US) content in localized search results setting turned on, learners could see the English content in search results with translated titles and descriptions if a translated version is available, otherwise the English title and description show in search results. When they launch the English course the table of contents, learning objectives, knowledge checks, and course tests show in their site language and they can use translated closed captions when playing the course for a full translated experience. Ensure Allow automated translated closed captions when playing courses that are in English (US) setting is also turned on.

Flashcards, previously only available on the mobile app, are now available on the web version of Percipio. Flashcards help learners retain key information from the courses they completed resulting in an adaptive and customized experience. Please note, while this feature is designed to enhance learning retention, time spent on flashcards does not count towards learning goals.
The Learning Reinforcement Notifications setting, which enables flashcards for learners, is on by default.
Engaging your learners to build a learning culture
The items in this section provide ways to engage your users so they want to learn and make learning a habit.

Enhance your learning communication strategy with the new timezone-based email delivery feature for emails that follow a regular delivery schedule such as recommendation and re-engagement emails. This update ensures that emails and push notifications are delivered to learners at their optimal times, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. local time, increasing the likelihood of engagement. Emails that are time sensitive such as assignment and ILT reminders or those initiated with a button click such as password reset, approval, and welcome emails do not fall under this setting.
If the Allow learners to set timezone setting is on and the user sets their timezone, Percipio sends emails based on the user's timezone. If the timezone setting is on, but the learner does not set their timezone, Percipio uses the organization's timezone, if configured. If the timezone is not configured, Percipio uses standard GMT time to send emails for all learners in that organization.

Currently, when learners want to share content, share a playlist, or invite others to a study group, they have to type the full email address of every person they wanted to include every time. This creates a barrier to easy sharing.
As an admin, you now have access to two settings that are on by default, but are not yet enabled for the learner. Keep these settings on to enable learners to easily share with others at your company. Turn them off if you are concerned about users having access to email addresses of other users in your company that are set up in Percipio.
-
Email lists: When on, learners can easily share learning content by creating email lists of Percipio users from your site. Once created, these lists can be reused multiple times, enhancing collaboration efficiency.
-
Email address suggestions: When on, Percipio suggests matching email addresses or email lists as learners type. Learners can then select from the list who they want to email. Turn this setting off to help protect personal data.
If you leave these settings on, learners will have access to these features in a future release.
Manage, promote, and measure learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

With this release, managing assignments in your learning environment is now more streamlined and efficient with enhanced capabilities.
- Assignment Date filter: When viewing any of the Assignment reports (Assignment Detail by User, Assignment Summary, and Assignment Summary by User reports ) or the Assignment dashboard, you can now simultaneously select assignments based on their Launched, Completed, or Due dates, without needing to run separate reports. This unified approach enhances your ability to generate comprehensive reports, saving time and effort.
- Assignment Created Date column: The Assignment Detail by User and Assignment Summary by User reports now offer a new column showing the assignment created date. This column is available in both the UI and CSV exports. This column is off by default, allowing you to choose when to view this data.

If you are using Compliance Suite in Percipio, you can now delegate compliance-related tasks to roles such as Content curators, Content coordinators, Managers, and Learning admins, rather than limiting these capabilities to Site Admins only. The two new permissions are:
- Manage completion settings: When selected, allows users with this privilege to change completion settings for Compliance courses.
- Manage content configurations: When selected, allows users with this privilege to configure Compliance content.
Both are enabled by default for Site Admins and customizable for other roles. You have the flexibility to enable these permissions as needed for different roles, providing more control over who can manage compliance content.
For more information, see Permissions by role and Role Customization.
Compliance, Ecosystems, and Integrations
The items in this section help you to integrate Percipio across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

The new language selector setting is available for customers who integrate Percipio with another LMS. When your Skillsoft admin turns on LMS integration for you, you can also have them turn on the language equivalency selector and language equivalency completion.
When language equivalency selector is turned on:
- Learners will be prompted to select their preferred language upon launch of any course with an established language equivalency in Percipio.
- A completion for the course the learner completed will be sent back to the LMS.
- Admins in the LMS see one completion record for the course that the learner completed, no matter what language the learner launched the course in originally.
When your Skillsoft admin turns on the language equivalency selector, you can also have them turn on the language equivalency completion. When language equivalency completion is turned on:
- In addition to the completion a learner receives for the course they took, a second completion for the US English course will be is sent to the LMS.
- If a learner completes a Skillsoft course in their preferred language, Percipio also sends a completion record to the LMS for the English course.
This allows admins to assign a Skillsoft US English course to any learner using their LMS. Regardless of the language a learner completes the course in, they receive a completion for the US English course.
- Admins in the LMS see two completion records, one for the English course that they assigned and one for the course the learner completed.
For more information, see Site Configuration.
