Onboarding
When you first log in to your coaching platform, there are a series of onboarding steps that you must complete before you can get started with your coaching engagement. It is recommended that you complete the onboarding tasks in the order presented, however, you can complete them in any order.
On the home page, under To-Do, you see a list of tasks that you must complete as a part of your onboarding. Depending on your organization's settings, you may not see all tasks.
- Complete the Leadership Assessment: In this assessment, rate your own leadership skills on a scale of 0 to 100. The lowest score you can input is 5. If a certain area does not apply to you, select Cannot Assess, however, your organization may require that you rate a certain number or skills in order to complete the assessment. You may also leave comments for yourself that you can look back on later.
- Request 360° Feedback: In this step of your onboarding, enter the name, email address, and relationship of colleagues who you would like to assess your leadership skills. These people receive an email that invites them to rate the same skills that you rated during your Leadership assessment. It is recommended that you invite at least one manager. Your organization may require you to invite a minimum number of people. Once you have added someone, you have the option to remove them or remind them to fill out the survey up until they complete it. The people that fill out your initial 360° feedback will assess you again during remeasurement.
- Engagement Survey: In this survey, rate a series of statements on a scale of 1 to 10 based on how strongly you agree with them. You will answer these same questions again during remeasurement so that you can document your progress.
- Video Conferencing Setup: In this step of onboarding, provide a link to your organization's preferred video service or choose to use Skillsoft's Coaching Zoom link. This is the link you will use to meet with your coach. This link can be changed at any time from the Video settings page.
Once you complete all the onboarding tasks on your To-Do list, Select your executive coach displays as the next item on your To-Do list. Select Begin to get paired with a coach and start learning.
