Manager Dashboard Settings

The Manager dashboard provides managers with insights into their team’s learning activity. Managers can see which of their employees are overdue on assignments, which assignments are at risk of not being completed on time, how many of their learners are engaged in learning activities, who has signed up for live learning, and how they are doing compared with other managers in the company.

Use the settings on the Manager dashboard page to tailor the experience to your organization’s needs. The Manager dashboard is on by default. You can customize which widgets or sections of the dashboard display to managers.

To access the settings for the Manager dashboard:

  1. Ensure your left navigation is in the admin menu view. To get there, select Switch to my Admin View. If you see Switch to my Learner View, that means you are on the admin view.

  2. From left navigation bar, select Site Settings > Dashboard > Manager Dashboard. The dashboard is on by default.

  3. To turn the dashboard off, toggle the On/Off switch to Off . To turn the dashboard on, toggle the On/Off switch to On.

  4. If you turn the dashboard on, select the widgets you want to display to your managers. You must select at least one widget.

  5. Select Preview dashboard to see what managers will see.

  6. Select Save changes when the dashboard previews as you want.

Available Widgets

For all managers with access, you can choose which widgets or sections of the dashboard display to managers. You must have at least one widget selected when the dashboard is on. The following widgets are available:

  • Assignments at risk: This setting displays two widgets on the Manager dashboard.
    • Learners with overdue assignments: At the top of the dashboard, managers see a widget showing the number of learners who are overdue on at least one assignment. When they click the View and remind link, they can see who the learners are and send them an email reminder.
    • Assignments at risk: This widget shows assignments where their learners have missed a deadline or are at risk of missing a deadline. This helps managers ensure they are staying in compliance. managers can filter assignments by overdue or due soon and switch between all assignments made to learners in their audiences, assignments made just by the manager, or assignments made by someone else in the organization. They can select the View and remind link to send reminders.
  • Learning engagement funnel: This setting displays two widgets on the Manager dashboard.
    • Non-engaged learners: At the top of the dashboard, managers see a widget showing the number of learners who have not accessed any content within the last 30 days. When they click the View and remind link, they can see who the learners are and send them an email reminder.
    • Learning engagement funnel: This widget shows data for the last 30 days. It shows how many learners the manager is responsible for, of those learners how many accessed at least one page within the learning platform, and it shows how many accessed content.
  • Live learning overview: This setting displays a widget that shows ongoing and upcoming instructor-led training sessions and how many from the manager's team have enrolled.
  • Top managers and Quick XP boosts: If you have XP Settings enabled on your site, you can turn this widget on, otherwise it is unavailable. When checked, this setting shows three widgets on the Manager dashboard.
    • Your rank and XP level: At the top of the dashboard, managers see a widget showing their rank and their level based on the total number of experience points they earned both learner and manager points.
    • Top managers in your org:This widget shows the three managers with the highest number of XP.
    • Quick XP boosts: This widget shows actions managers can take to earn XP. They can select an action from the list. You can set the number of points for manager actions from XP settings page.
  • Percipio Manager Training: This setting displays a link to the Percipio Manager training course. The course provides managers an overview of how to engage their learners, make assignments, and run reports.
