Taking or Retaking a Compliance Test
See Testing for Compliance Courses for information about different types of tests such as assessments, lesson, topic, or course tests, and pre-tests, study modes or certification modes.
To take, or retake a compliance course test
- Select a test link, the mode if required, then Take Test or Retake Test.
When retaking a test, optionally select Show Failed Topics.
- Answer the question and select Done, or select Answer Later. Based on the configuration settings, the correct answer may or may not display after each question.
- Select Next Question to continue.
You can view your question test status at any time during the test by selecting QuestionStatus. If you end a test that contains unanswered questions, the Question Status dialog also displays.
Once you have answered all questions, the Test Results page displays where you can select Retake Last Test to take the test again, or Question Review to answer questions that were partially correct or incorrect.
Retaking a test
Most tests provide the option to retake the entire test or retake the questions answered incorrectly. However, some compliance courses place a limit on the number of times you can retake the test. If you reach the maximum test limit for an assigned compliance course, contact your training administrator to request a course restart.
When retaking a test:
- If you Cancel and return to the test summary page, the test attempt is not counted towards the maximum limit.
- If you Take a Partial Test, questions presented include those with no answer, or with a score of less than 100%, and may be different than the original questions.
- You cannot lower your final score by retaking a test.
