Engaging your learners to build a learning culture
Percipio learners can now download and install the Percipio app for Apple TV and access it with the mobile app. To get started:
- In the mobile app, from the left nav bar, select Connect to Apple TV.
- Enter the Apple TV code that displays on your Apple TV.
- Select Verify code.
- Once authenticated, you can begin learning.
See Install the Percipio app for Apple TV for additional details.
After the learner completes a qualified course, they see the completion certificate icon next to that course in their Activity page. The learner can select the icon to download a PDF version of the completion certificate to their device's Downloads folder.
Learners now have the option to remove content that is not yet completed from the Resume Learning area.
From any content card, select the action menu and then select Remove from Resume Learning.
Removing content from Resume Learning does not remove it from the Activity page.
Previously, when learners received a re-engagement or recommended email and clicked on a link within the email, they had to log into Percipio before the corresponding page or content item opened.
Now, when learners click on a link within the re-engagement or recommended emails, they are automatically logged into Percipio with the corresponding page or content item open. The automatic login only works once per email per user and expires after 60 days. That means, if learners attempt a second click within the email, they are prompted to log in.
To help users who have the Percipio role of manager encourage learning in their team, the Recommendation, Re-engagement, Digital Badge, or Audience owner emails now contain a new section. For every email, Percipio randomly chooses one of the following options to put in this new section:
- Assign content to team
- Share recently accessed content with team
- Check on team’s progress
See Email Management and Learner Engagement for additional details.
Manage, promote and measure learning
You can now select up to 10 users from the User filter in the Learner Activity Report. The report then shows learning activity for just those users selected.
Ecosystems and Integrations
Admins can now choose to have policy documents display for users within a modal instead of a new window. Previously, all policy documents loaded in a new browser window/tab.
The new default behavior is for policies to open within the modal. Existing policies continue to open in a new browser window/tab. To have an existing policy open in a modal, you can edit it, unselect the Open in new window checkbox, and publish a new version.
See Add a Policy for additional details.
Usability Enhancements
Learners using the mobile app now see the term Download instead of Available Offline.
Previously, when you wanted to target re-engagement emails to a specific audience, you had to unselect all audiences you did not want one at a time. You now have the option to unselect all audiences and only select those audiences you want to receive the emails.
