New Features and Enhancements as of April 24, 2023
Engaging your learners to build a learning culture
The items in this section provide ways to engage your users so they want to learn and make learning a habit.

Skillsoft recently released the ability for learners to add a job role to their profile so they can get recommendations for learning the specific skills needed to be an outstanding performer in their current role or to learn new skills needed for their next role.
Learners can now easily add or change their job role, from the new Role tab in the My Learning section of the home page.

As you select filters to narrow your search results, other filters that no longer contain matching results disappear from view. Previously, search would preserve these zero-count filters and show them as deactivated.
Fewer filters simplifies the display and makes it easier for you to see what is left available for selection.
For more information, see Search.

Learners can now only launch one instance of a course test at a time. This protects the integrity of the course test and learners retain the value that they get from completing it.
If a learner attempts to open multiple instances of the same test, they will see a notification indicating that the action is not allowed and they will be required to close a window.
Manage, promote, and measure learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

To help your learners see all learning in one place, especially if you manage some learning like webinars and instructor-led training in other systems, you now have the option to add these items as live event links in Percipio.
When you add a live event link, you add a URL that can take the learner directly to a virtual meeting link or a website for registration. You also specify a start and end date and time.
When the learner sees the item from the Live Course Calendar or via search, they can follow the URL and they have the option to add it to their calendar. After they attend the event, the learner gets credit for it in Percipio.
For more information on how to add and edit a live event link, see Live event link.

The following reports contain new columns:
- Compliance assignment summary by user report: now contains a User status column indicating whether the user is active or inactive.
- All content listing by collection and All content listing by title reports: now contain two new columns that can help you find English equivalent courses when you are looking to build a channel or journey in multiple languages. A recommended best practice is to group by one of these columns:
- ENGLISH EQUIVALENT ID: If a non-English content item has an English equivalent, this field is populated with the ID of the English equivalent content.
- ENGLISH EQUIVALENT TITLE: If a non-English content item has an English equivalent, this field is populated with the title of the English equivalent content.
