AI Updates

The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

To ensure CAISY delivers the best experience while meeting the latest security standards, we will be upgrading our AI models by February 12, 2025. Learners are unlikely to notice any changes when interacting with CAISY.

In addition, we will also be upgrading the AI Assistant guard model by March 31, 2025. Again, learners are not likely to notice any changes when interacting with the AI Assistant when the model gets updated.

We wanted to keep you informed about the updates for any internal processes you may have that needs this information. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.

Manage, promote, and measure learning

The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

Improve your efficiency in managing your audiences by using the new bulk import workflow to add audience owners and administrators to an audience. With audience owners and administrators in place, you help democratize learning and grow your corporate learning culture.

Audience owners are users with the Percipio role of learning admin or manager. When someone is an audience owner, they have the ability to view learning analytics, make assignments, add and edit users, assign learning programs, and grant waivers and completions for users in audiences that they own.

Audience administrators can perform all the same actions as audience owners with the addition of the ability to create and manage child audiences. A child audience is a subset of an audience they administer.

Compliance, Ecosystems, and Integrations

The items in this section help you to integrate Percipio across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

Enhance your compliance management with the ability to disable self-monitoring conditions for compliance courses. Enabled by default, this new setting is available in the Advanced area of Compliance Completion Settings, allowing you to tailor the compliance course experience to meet your organization's specific requirements. You can choose to display or hide self-monitoring conditions upon course launch, ensuring that learners only see what is necessary for their compliance training.

This setting can be applied for all compliance courses or as a specific course override, giving you greater flexibility and control.

Usability Enhancements

The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

With this release, Percipio now supports closed captions in Portuguese (Portugal), Estonian, and Azerbaijani. When learners play a Skillsoft course in English, they can switch closed captions to one of these three languages.

When on the Library page and a learner hovers over an Area box, they see a pop up list of Subjects. The learner can select a subject from the list to go to that page to see the channels. This gives them quick access to the content they need.
