General Questions
Yes, there is a fee for Skillsoft Professional Services team to implement the Saba Cloud LMS connector. After you implement the connector, it is free to use as part of Percipio.
No. The connector uses standard functionality available in Saba Cloud LMS.
No. All configuration steps within Saba Cloud LMS can be performed by your Saba Cloud LMS Administrator.
One exception is that you may need assistance from your Saba Account Team to configure SFTP access if this is not already enabled.
Yes. The Saba Cloud LMS connector is the only supported method for automatically synchronizing Percipio learner usage data.
You can choose to manually export data from Percipio or use the available APIs to build your own process to import and synchronize the data if you wish.
Yes. The Saba Cloud LMS connector is the only supported method for automatically synchronizing Percipio content items.
You can choose to manually export data from Percipio or use the available APIs to build your own process to import and synchronize the data if you wish.
Yes. If you contact your Skillsoft account team, they can share with you a short video that shows the learner experience.
This will depend on how prepared you are and the availability of your resources to work on the project.
To ensure your success, our Skillsoft team will work collaboratively with you during the implementation process and help you make decisions around deployment options that will work best for your configuration.
Our implementation team has defined the project schedule based on our years of experience and best practices. The project typically takes 6-8 weeks, but each project is unique and so Skillsoft will make our best effort to accommodate your schedule.

Yes. During the implementation process you will work with the Skillsoft account team to select the content you wish to make available.

Yes. All the Skillsoft content in all languages will be included in the process.
Yes. New Skillsoft content items will automatically be added to the Saba Cloud LMS .
Yes. Updated Skillsoft content items will automatically update in Saba Cloud LMS.
Yes. Retired Skillsoft content items will automatically be marked as inactive in Saba Cloud LMS.
Yes, for certain values. These values are usually unique to your specific implementation of Saba Cloud LMS and not related to Skillsoft metadata about the content item.
During the implementation process the Skillsoft account team will work with you to configure these values.
No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft Subjects and Areas to Saba Cloud LMS
No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft Collection information to Saba Cloud LMS.
Content launch and consumption
Using SAML Single Sign-on (SSO) means that learner’s access to the content in Percipio should be seamless. This is dependent on how your SAML system is configured.
No. Using our recommended SAML configuration means that a Percipio learner account will be created the first time the learner accesses content. The learner account is populated with the SAML information your system supplies. Subsequent accesses will update the Percipio account based on the data from your SAML system.
You can also choose to setup an automated feed from your HR systems to add additional learner information to Percipio, if all the information is not available in your SAML system
Saba Cloud LMS uses the metadata about Skillsoft content delivered through the Automated Content Management process. Saba Cloud LMS has its own algorithms for displaying content, handling learner's searches, and providing content recommendations which is different from Percipio.
No. There is no synchronization of Saba Cloud LMS assignments to Percipio.
No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft subjects and areas to Saba Cloud LMS.

Learners will be able to discover and launch content from:
- Saba Cloud LMS web
- Saba Cloud LMSmobile app
- Percipio web
- Percipio mobile app
- Any Percipio add-ons or plug-ins, such as Percipio for Microsoft Teams or Percipio ELSA browser plug-in
No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft collection information to Saba Cloud LMS and so it is not possible to assign a Percipio license via Saba Cloud LMS .
You can assign licenses in Percipio, but learners may find content items in Saba Cloud LMS that they will not have access to in Percipio.
Yes. When learners launch a course from Saba that they previously completed, they are prompted to Retake or Re-launch. If the learner wants to receive credit for multiple completions for the course, they must select Retake from the Saba prompt. Back in Percipio, they must then select Restart from the course actions menu.
Learner completion tracking
Yes. Saba Cloud LMS
Percipio sends usage to Saba Cloud LMS within a few seconds of it occurring in Percipio.
Yes. The learner’s usage is tracked and available to report on using Percipio Analytics. Admins can also see the learner activity data in Saba Cloud LMS .
