Skillport 8 Patch 14 (8.0.3138) January 2014

Batch Add

  • When attempting to batch update a learner's account that includes an apostrophe (') in his email address, an error message no longer displays. (CR 153413)

Certifications

  • Learners can now see content within the Certification view in the prescribed order.

Community

  • When you've marked your Community profile as Private, and you attempt to follow another Community member, the correct message now displays, informing you that you cannot follow that member because you previously chose not to participate, and you are given the option to make your profile public (therefore participate) so you can follow the user. (CR 142268)

Development Plan

  • When an admin attempts to add a learning item to a Development Plan for a learner, he no longer receives an error message. (CR 155178)

Display

  • You can now modify the header text on the Skillport Sign In page. (CR 149254)
  • When you reorganize the display order of courses in the Library page of Skillport Administrator and save those changes, they now display in Skillport Learner as expected. (CR 153533)

Email Notifications

  • When French-language learners in Advanced groups are enrolled in or withdrawn from French ILT sessions, they now receive French notifications. (CR 155075).

Learning Programs

  • When attempting to add passive content to Learning Programs (using the Edit Learning Plan function), passive content items are now returned via a search by ID or name. (CR 153342)
  • You can now enroll learners in a Learning Program using the Manage Enrollments page in Skillport Administrator. (CR 155059, 155097)

Library

  • When clicking View More within the Browse the Library menu, links no longer return the following error message: Error, Line Number: 18, c.target.ownerLayout is undefined (CR 153697)

Live Events

  • When you click Add to Calendar (.ics) for a Live Event using Internet Explorer 8, you no longer receive an error. (CR 154905)

Reports

  • When an ILT Learner Report is downloaded and opened in Microsoft Excel, certain fields that have a comma in them (such as Employee Title) no longer cause formatting issues in the csv document. (CR 153228)
  • When a user account is deactivated, it no longer affects the information in the ILT Learner Report. (CR 154629)

Search

  • When you attempt to perform a search within a search, book results display as expected. (CR 154525)
  • Site performance has been improved when searching for content. (CR 154121)

Skillsoft Advantage

  • A custom image for a custom Sales Advantage track now displays when browsing to it in the library. (CR 153587)

Users and Groups

  • When you assign courses to a group, then add a new user to that group, the new user now inherits the catalog assignment as expected. (CR 149497)
  • When trying to assign a single course to a single user via the Learning Plan Assignments tab on the User Management page, an error no longer displays. (CR 155059)
