A critical message indicates that the course contains content which may introduce player instability during playback. It is recommended that all critical issues are resolved before the course is published. Failure to do so may lead to unpredictable behavior in the published course.

File case mismatch |
In the case of a resource in a course, the XML does not match the case of the item on disk. Such resources include audio files, graphic files, external HTML resources etc. The SkillSoft Course Player will be unable to load the file on case-sensitive operating systems where a mismatch occur. |
Upper case filenames |
In an attempt to avoid case mismatch we enforce the guideline that all files (audio/graphics/html etc.) use lower case file names. |
Topic page ids |
Verify that every page in a topic has a unique ID. |
Graphic extensions |
Verify that all graphics used in the course are of a type supported in the CCA architecture (png, gif, jpg, jpeg) |
Invalid Image File format |
This warning indicates that the image file name is too large (it has more than 8 characters in the name or more than 3 characters in the extension). Shorten the file name. |
