Learning Point IDs

Learning point IDs have their own syntax within a course. If learning points are cut, copied, or pasted in a course, they automatically renumber according to their new position in the tree.

Instruction Learning Points

SkillStudio assigns each instruction learning point a unique ID when added to a course. This ID begins with the letters LP and the learning point number (for example, LP 1, LP 2).

Task Learning Points

SkillStudio assigns each task learning point a unique ID when added to a course. This ID is labeled Task and is followed by a number (for example, Task 1, Task 2).

Summary Learning Points

Summary learning points follow the same numbering system as Exercise Overviews. They are not numbered; instead, they are titled Summary. Each item added after a Summary takes into account the Summary in their numbering system.

Exercise Overview Learning Points

Exercise Overview learning points are not numbered; instead, they are titled Exercise Overview. Each item added after an Exercise Overview takes into account the Exercise Overview in their numbering system. In the following example, items were entered in this order:

  1. Lesson One
  2. Topic One in Lesson One
  3. Topic One Objectives
  4. Exercise Overview learning point
