The Course Overview topic is a general overview about course content. It is the first topic in a Business Skills, Financial Services, ES&H, Legal Compliance, or Federal Government course. You may add pages directly to a Course Overview topic.
Note: Course Overviews do not contain learning points.
There are two tabs in the Course Overview topic:
Overview Information tab - Enter the Course Overview's Instructional Plan.
Est. Duration (minutes) drop-down menu - Choose 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes and reflects the estimated time it might take the average learner to move through the Course Overview. When selecting the estimated duration, choose the closest number of minutes available in the Est. Duration drop-down menu. For example, if the approximate duration is 2 minutes, select 5 minutes from the drop-down menu.
Approx. Duration (min) text field - Enter an approximate duration as to how long it should take an average learner to move through the Course Overview. This can be any number.
