AI Updates

The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in the platform so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

We will soon be updating our AI conversation models for CAISY, AI Assistant, and AI-assisted search. Learners are not likely to notice any changes when interacting with any of these features.

This update is part of our commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in AI technology, ensuring that we continue to provide you with the best possible security and user experience. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.

Expanding skills of your workforce

The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

If a learner launches a previously started, but not completed course, outside of an assignment, and that course is in an assignment that requires a restart, the learner is asked if they want to continue or restart the course.

The learner can continue without restarting to meet previous obligations such as for NASBA credit. If they continue and achieve completion, the completion does not count toward the assignment completion. They will have to eventually restart the course to achieve assignment completion.

If the learner previously completed a course, and they launch it again outside an assignment, and that course is in an assignment that requires the course to be restarted, the learner is prompted to restart the course for credit for the assignment.

Manage, promote, and measure learning

The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

When you need to create an assignment in multiple languages, but you only speak one language, you can now keep your site language in your native language, and still find content in the language needed for the assignment. You can use the new language drop down to select the content language, then search and find the localized content for your assignment.

Use this option when you want to add content that does not have a language equivalent.

Now, when you batch upload a list of audience owners or administrators to an audience, the users in the upload file get appended to the list of existing users already identified as audience owners or administrators. Previously, when you batch added new users, the list of existing owners and administrators was overwritten with the new list.

Compliance, Ecosystems, and Integrations

The items in this section help you to integrate the platform across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

Previously, reviewers could only access the versions they were explicitly assigned to. This update retroactively applies to all Certitude v5 assets, ensuring that reviewers assigned to the most recent version automatically gain access to all prior versions. This change streamlines the review process and ensures that reviewers have comprehensive insight into the evolution of content, allowing for more informed feedback and decision-making.

Skillsoft Coaching enhancements

For customers of Skillsoft Coaching, this section reports on changes made to Skillsoft Coaching and the Skillsoft Platform to support the interaction. Headlines for this release include:

  • AI Coaching Guide recommends content for learners and coaches

Product Retirement Notice

This section contains notifications regarding Skillsoft products and services that are nearing retirement.
