New Features and Enhancements as of August 26, 2025
Expanding skills of your workforce
The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

When learners visit a journey landing page, they now see a prompt if they consumed content, but did not start the journey. This prompt gives them the option to start the journey and update their progress. If a learner chooses to start the journey, it shows in recent activity and their Activity page for easy access, and the journey status and progress indicators update. If learners opt not to start the journey, it remains hidden from their Activity page and no journey progress is recorded.
Previously, when learners consumed content outside the context of a journey, journey progress was not accurately reflected, causing confusion.

You can now download and print your HRCI certificate of completion from the Activity or Completion Certificate page. The certificate includes your name, course title, date of completion, recertification credit hours, and the HRCI Program ID (also referred to as the six-digit HRCI Activity ID).
For more information, see Certificates of Completion.

A new filter type is available when searching content. The Training Credits filter displays the number of courses in your search results that are eligible for HRCI recertification credits.
For more information, see Filtering search results.

Use the course Overview tab to view HRCI metadata to see:
- which courses count towards HRCI credit,
- how many credits you can earn, and
- how to qualify for HRCI credits.
For more information, see the Course Overview tab.

The left navigation label for Certifications was updated to Certification Center. This change aims to provide a clearer and more consolidated access point for certification-related activities, helping learners streamline the management and tracking of their certifications.

This release finds the following updates to CAISY:
- The About CAISY page now shows the five-level rating system.
- Enhancements to the voice-only mode to allow for a more seamless and engaging experience
- Grammar rating from the rubric has been temporarily removed while we refine the criteria.
Engaging your learners to build a learning culture
The items in this section provide ways to engage your users so they want to learn and make learning a habit.

Learners can now easily login to the Percipio mobile app using a QR code from their user profile, eliminating the need to enter a sitename or user credentials. To take advantage of this new feature, ensure the Mobile app promotion setting is turned on.
Your company can also benefit from added security with an one-time password (OTP) authentication step, ensuring secure access to the platform.
New Settings
To help you better manage new features and enhancements that come out with this release, this section contains a summary of new settings that you can configure in Percipio.

Enhance learner engagement and reduce administrative burden with automatic reminder and congratulatory emails for certification paths and journeys. When learners start a journey or a certification path, Percipio can send them a reminder email if they have not engaged after 15 days. Learners will continue to receive a series of three emails at intervals of 30, 45, and 60 days from their last access. This email encourages them to reengage and complete the certification path or journey. After a learner completes a certification path or journey, they receive a congratulations email.
With this release, you see two new admin settings that are on by default. If you do not want your learners to receive these reminder and congratulatory emails after they start a certification path or journey, you can turn off the setting now. If you leave the setting on, learners will start receiving emails after September 23, 2025. The settings are located from Site Settings > Engagement and Notifications > Email Campaigns:
- Journey progress and completion emails: On by default, you can control whether users will receive journey reminder and congratulatory emails.
- Certification status and expiration emails: On by default, this setting controls three types of emails when learners engage with a certification path:
- Reminder emails if the learner is inactive
- Congratulatory emails to both the learner and their manager when the learner completes the certification path and uploads their certificate.
- Renewal emails when it is time for a learner to renew their certification.

Back on July 1, we announced the release of the unified language experience which is a setting that allows learners to view content in their Percipio site language enhancing understanding and retention. We announced that it would be on be default for all customers except for Canadian customers.
Please advise, the setting originally shipped off by default. With this release, we will be turning it on by default for all customers except:
- Customers who have explicitly turned the switch off
- Canadian customers who have it off by default
Manage users, content, and settings to promote learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content and configure settings so that you can effectively promote learning.

Emails regarding retiring content and summaries of earned Digital Badges were previously sent based on the Percipio user roles of learning admin, content curator, and content coordinator, rather than their permissions. Now, if a custom role lacks access to the All Content Listing report or the Executive report, users in that role will not receive emails about retiring content or badge summaries.
This enhancement helps ensure that users receive only the information pertinent to their role and permissions.

Now when you add custom content to Percipio, you can specify learning objectives to help your learners understand if the content will be right for them.
For more information, see Before you begin.
Compliance, Ecosystems, and Integrations
The items in this section help you to integrate Percipio across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

You can now implement OpenID Connect (OIDC) for authenticating users into Percipio. This update offers an alternative to Single Sign-On (SSO) login, ensuring a seamless authentication experience for users.
When OIDC is configured, users see a new button on the login page that you can customize. When a user clicks this button, the OIDC authentication flow initiates, and upon successful authentication, users will be directed to the Percipio homepage.
AI Updates
The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

To ensure CAISY and the AI Assistant deliver the best experience while meeting the latest security standards, we will be upgrading our AI guard models on September 12, 2025. Learners are unlikely to notice any changes when interacting with either feature.
We want to keep you informed about the updates for any internal processes you may have that needs this information. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.
