New Features and Enhancements as of August 12, 2025
AI Updates
The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

To ensure CAISY and the AI Assistant deliver the best experience while meeting the latest security standards, we will be upgrading our AI guard models on September 12, 2025. Learners are unlikely to notice any changes when interacting with either feature.
We want to keep you informed about the updates for any internal processes you may have that need this information. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.
Manage users, content, and settings to promote learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content and configure settings so that you can effectively promote learning.

Currently, for recurring assignments where existing learner completions exist, and you choose to honor previous completions, the second due date is calculated based on the assignment’s start date plus frequency. With this release, the second due date will be based on each learner’s most recent completion date plus frequency. This only applies when learners already have completions for the assigned content and you choose to honor those completions for the initial occurrence.
If you created a recurring assignment prior to this release:
- Learners already included in the assignment retain the current due date logic.
- Learners added after this release change follow the new logic for calculating a due date.
For more details, please Create assignments.

You can now hide an entire Skillsoft Library area from learner discovery while still allowing the content within the area to be available for assignments. When assigned, learners can discover the content through browse and search. This is particularly beneficial for compliance-driven organizations that require strict control over voluntary learner access to certain content.
For more details, see Manage Content Visibility.

Skillsoft continually develops and releases new content to meet your evolving needs. Occasionally we retire content that is outdated, no longer relevant, or is replaced by newer content.
To ensure your learners and admins do not use channels or journeys that are about to expire, they can now see a pop up message that indicates when the channel or journey will expire and a replacement channel or journey, if available.
If you do not want these messages to display to learners, you can turn off the setting from Site settings > Site configuration > Content settings > Content change notifications.
Analytics Updates
The items in this section showcase changes to reports and dashboards to help you more effectively and efficiently manage your programs and how it is impacting your bottom line.

Elevate your report management efficiency with the new template sharing capability. This capability allows you to distribute report templates across your organization, simplifying report generation and ensuring consistency. By sharing templates, you save time by reusing formats and ensure that all stakeholders have access to standardized reports, fostering uniformity across teams.
For more details, please see Share templates.

With the Feature Usage report, you can now track which features, such as AI Assistant, playlists, and study groups, are being adopted across your organization. You can see who accessed the feature, when, and how often as well as usage activity. This report empowers you to make informed decisions to optimize feature usage and improve user engagement.
Compliance, Ecosystems, and Integrations
The items in this section help you to integrate Percipio across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

Your custom site logos now display in the player when learners launch courses through another LMS. Instead of the default Percipio logo, your organization's logo is prominently displayed, sourced directly from your site settings in Percipio. This enhancement ensures brand consistency and recognition, even when learners engage with external compliance content.
In addition, you now see partner logos under the About tab, ensuring clear attribution without detracting from your own branding.
