WYSIWYG Editing

The SkillStudio Graphics tab is designed as a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. On any template, after entering content in the Writing tab, click the Graphics tab to see how the default layout of the page looks in the SkillSoft Course Player (SCP). Using the capabilities of this application, you can enhance your learner's experience by adding various options to graphics, such as:

• animation effects
• hotspots
• highlighters

SHIFT+Click

The WYSIWYG editor is designed to show the page as it looks each time the learner clicks Next in the player (iterations). By default, when you click the Graphics tab, the graphics appear in the first iteration, which is what the learner will see upon first viewing the page in the player. Using SHIFT+Click in the WYSIWYG editor, you can:

• invoke the available player actions (such as hotspots or animations)
• see hidden graphics (that would be normally be viewed or invoked in other iterations of the page)
• manipulate those graphics (ensure the Draggable check box, located on the Writing tab, is checked)
