Percipio for Learning

Percipio is Latin for learn. With Percipio, you can experience multiple ways to learn. You can:

• Watch: courses and videos.
• Read:books, book summaries, and any other articles or blogs that your organization might add.
• Listen: to audiobooks, audio summaries and podcasts that your organization might add.
• Attend:live courses and bootcamps.
• Practice: with labs and CAISY AI simulations.
• Assess: with Skill Benchmarks.

Getting Started

Once you have logged into Percipio, you see the home page. You can explore all from the home page.

In brief, you can:

• Discover content quickly from your Percipio home page, using search or the Library.
• Save your favorite content to a personal Playlist.
• Track your activity to help assess your learning progress.
• Access content anytime, anywhere through your mobile device.

• Home page: Contains multiple sections relevant to your and your organization's learning objectives.
• Top navigation: Displays several icons for quick access to different parts of Percipio .
• Left navigation menu: Access all your pages where you can find content, track learning activities, and manage your settings.

Home page

From the Percipio home page you might see one or all of the following depending on how your admin has configured your site.

• From the home page at top, you might find the following tabs:
  • Recent Learning: Resume learning what you've already started. If you launch a course but do not play a video or access any of its resources, it is not considered started and does not show on your Recent learning tab.
  • Assignments: Launch your assignments (if available).
  • Programs: View a list of learning programs you're enrolled in or are invited to join. If you are not enrolled or invited to enroll in any learning programs, you can discover learning programs that are open for you to enroll in.
  • Role: Manage yourjob role and skill ratings to see learning recommendations that help you develop the skills professionals in that role need to be successful. From the Role tab, you can access Role Advisor which provides a full list of recommendations to improve your effectiveness, progress on your career path, and achieve skill levels for advancement.
  • Live Learning: View all instructor-led classes you registered for or follow the link to the Live Course calendar to see the instructor-led training classes that are coming up in the next 30 days.
  • Skill Benchmarks: Start a skill benchmark (if available to you).
  • Playlists: Create a playlist of content you don't have time to take now, but want to take later.
  • Goals: Set learning goals and reminders (only available if Learning Goals is enabled).
• View items promoted by your organization (if available).
• Top picks for your role: If you selected a role in Percipio, you see a strip labeled with that role. View recommended content by content type for skills mapped to your selected role. Every week, we select 3 skills that are associated with the role and display the top 5 search results based on those skills. You can find the skills that serve as the basis for the recommendations by selecting the information icon. The skills change weekly ensuring that content recommendations stay fresh and relevant to help learners continually grow their career!
• Based on your selected skills: View recommendations based on your selected skill interests.
• Practice difficult conversations with CAISY™ AI Simulator: View CAISY scenarios that help you develop crucial conversation skills by providing a safe space for you practice and receive real-time personalized feedback including content recommendations for improving.
• Recommended for you: The tabs in the strip provide recommendations from different perspectives. You can see recommendations:
  • Based on your Recent activity.
  • For content that is trending across your organization in the past week.
  • On Top-Rated content, those with the highest customer ratings.
  • On Popular Channels across all Percipio sites.

Top navigation

In the top navigation, you see several icons for quick access to different parts of Percipio.

To the far left is the logo icon, selecting that takes you to your home page.

Other icons you see include:

• My Achievements: When you select the trophy icon, you see the My Achievements page where you can track your progress of completions, certificates earned, your leaderboard status, you goal status, and number of learning days.
• Message center: When you select the bell icon, you see a list of notifications. These are there to help remind you of learning you committed to doing or that is coming due, congratulate you on completing learning, and view invitations to join others in learning. Clicking on a notifications marks it as read and takes you to the page where you can fulfill the action. From Notifications, you can:
  • Toggle between unread and all messages.
  • Mark all messages as read.
  • View all notifications on a single page.
• Language: When you select the globe icon, you see all available languages. If you do not see a language listed, it is because you do not have content entitled to you in that language. You can try locating content in English (US) and using translated closed captions.
• Skillsoft Apps: You may or may not see this 9-dot icon depending on how your Percipio site is configured. Under this icon you may see links to Skillsoft Compliance or Skillsoft Coaching if enabled for you.
• My Profile: When you select your initials icon, you see a submenu with these options:
  • My Learning
  • My Settings
  • Help
  • Log Out

Left navigation menu

The left navigation menu options all available options for you. Depending on how your admin has your site configured you might see all of the following options:

• Home: From wherever you are in Percipio, select Home to return to your home page.
• Library: Opens the Library page where you can browse for content you are entitled to.
• What's New: Opens the What's New page where you can find recently added features and content. Keep up to date easily.
• My Learning: Access and track your learning with the options listed here.
• Role Advisor: If you have a job role, you can access Role Advisor to get targeted content aimed to help you improve on job-related skills.
• Certifications: Access all certifications you are entitled to and track the progress of the ones you need.
• Skill Benchmarks: Access a Skill Benchmark and assess your level of knowledge. With the results, you can focus on the items you don't know well, and skip the ones you do.
• AI Simulations: Access CAISY AI Simulations and practice real-world conversations in a safe environment.
• AI Assistant: If enabled on your site, ask the AI Assistant a question and get an answer or a content recommendation.
• My Settings: Change your account settings including resetting your password and opting out of notifications.
• Help: Access our online documentation.
• Log Out: Signs you out of Percipio.
