Understanding the OLSA Admin

Depending on how OLSA was configured the OLSA Admin tool can display the following options:

• Download Asset Metadata - Download metadata for entitled assets for installation in a LMS.
• Communications Settings - Sets communication settings for OLSA launched content.
• Management - Administers content, organizes users, learning events and assigns books collections.
• Catalog Hierarchies - Retrieves the course catalog hierarchy or Books24x7 topic trees for entitled assets.
• OLSA Asset Launches - Generates reports to monitor asset launches thru OLSA.
• Reports - Generates comprehensive reports to monitor learning progress for any SkillSoft assets tracked back to the OLSA system.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging - Provides tools you can use to test communication between OLSA and the third party LMS and debug and diagnose OLSA behaviors in a deployed environment. Provides SuperAdmins with the ability to set logging levels.
