NEW FEATURES
When creating a banner promotion, you can now upload custom images with optional external links to promote content, events, and more. You can also include optimized banners for use in the Percipio mobile app.
For more information, see Create an Image Banner Promotion.
You can now make and edit a copy of a Skillsoft or custom journey to quickly create new content sets as needed.
For more information, see Copy a Journey.
With the new Skills Discovery dashboard, get insights into how your learners are exploring content on Percipio. The sections of the dashboard show what users are searching for and the skills they are choosing.
For more information, see Skills Discovery Dashboard.
In this release, there is a new Engagement & Notifications setting for a new feature coming in Q4 2020: learning goals. The setting is on by default and includes two options:
- Allow users to optionally set a learning goal: This allows users to choose a goal and track progress.
- Allow Percipio to send learning goal reminders to mobile app users through a push notification: This enables push notification reminders, encouraging users to keep up with their learning goal. In addition to this setting, app users will also need to enable push notifications on their devices.
With learning goals, Percipio mobile app users will be able to set a weekly learning goal of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, track progress, and receive encouraging reminders.
For more information about the setting and learning goals, see Learning Goals and Engagement and Notifications.
Re-engagement emails are weekly emails sent to learners who have not accessed Percipio content in 30 or more days, as a reminder to continue learning. With this release, you can now configure the re-engagement email, choosing a custom subject line, header, preheader, and introductory text.
For more information about configuring the email, see Customizing Re-engagement emails.
If you are using the multi-site management option at your organization, you can now share content across your sites. Read about this capability in Configure Content Sharing and Sharing Content Across Sites.
For learners who practice their developer and programming skills, Percipio now includes a new code editor. By using the code editor, you can hone, refine, and sharpen your programming skills and practice what you have learned in courses, journeys, or videos within Percipio. The code editor appears throughout Percipio, for example, as lab content when searching, or as practice content in channels.
This release includes a new self-service option, Content Selection and Sync, that enables you to quickly and easily set up Percipio content integration with any learning management system. You choose content from your purchased collections for export by setting up flexible content selection rules based on your needs, then keep your content in sync by downloading export files or working with your Skillsoft Application Engineer to schedule jobs.
For more information, see Manage and Deploy Content in an LMS/LXP.
ENHANCEMENTS
When adding content to channels, assignments, or promotions, your filter choices now appear as a list on the left side of the page, and provide more filter choices. The experience is similar to what you see when searching for learner content on Percipio. Previously, a limited set of filters were available in an collapsible section.
The Skillsoft Content Status Report was added to Percipio earlier this year, listing retiring courses, channels, and linked content. With this release, the report now includes a tab listing recently-added content as well. You can use this report to manage the assets in assignments, custom channels, and promoted content.
The accompanying email notification has also been updated to notify you about recenty-added content, in addition to retiring content. As before, the email includes a link to view the full Skillsoft Content Status report.
For more information, see Skillsoft Content Status Report and Retiring and Recently Added Content Emails.
With this release, the Percipio interface includes support for hosted custom content in Finnish, Greek, and Swedish.
For more information, see Setting your Language.
